Prebuilt worlds for every age

FOR TEACHERS · FREE FOREVER

Describe a world. Orbit builds it with you.

The Course Builder works like a conversation: tell it "a volcano lab for 7-year-olds, 45 minutes" and it drafts the world, the missions, and the quiz, inside Orbit's kid-safe brand guardrails. Edit anything. Teach it live. Publish it to the marketplace and earn a royalty every time another teacher uses it.

OUR STORY

Built by a family that needed it.

Orbit started at a kitchen table. Cofounders Arslan and Faryal, husband and wife, were homeschooling their two daughters and kept meeting the same wall: curious kids, a wonderful teacher, and flat tools that turned wonder into worksheets.

So they built the classroom they couldn't buy: living 3D worlds a child can grab and spin, a conductor's view for the teacher, and a promise made as parents first, that you should be able to understand every moment of your child's class without ever compromising their privacy.

Their daughters were Orbit's first students. Their homeschool teacher, Anam, became the first teacher on the platform; her live classes shaped the conductor view, the missions, and the report card every family gets after class. The product is still tested the same way, at that same table, by the kids it was built for.

WHY TEACHERS GET MORE OUT OF ORBIT

Orbit surfaces how each child behaves inside the lesson, hesitation before answers, wandering vs. focused exploration, the moment a concept clicks, as gentle live cues. Teachers adjust pace, reopen a card, or send a hint in the moment, then read the pattern across weeks in each student's report. That minute-by-minute feedback loop is exactly what learning science ranks among the strongest levers on achievement.

🔒 Analyzed safely, by design
📵Every engagement signal is computed on the child's own device. Video and audio never leave it, and there is nothing to leak because nothing is uploaded.
📊Parents get a detailed, plain-language report of every class: what was explored, where attention wobbled, what clicked, and the test result.
🧒Kids can always open "what my teacher sees." No scores on their screen, no ads, ever. COPPA-conscious from day one.
🧑‍🏫Teachers see the same signals live and adapt their teaching to each child, not to the average of the room.
THE SCIENCE · WHY DOING BEATS WATCHING
Active beats passive
A meta-analysis of 225 studies found active learning raised exam performance and cut failure rates by roughly a third versus lecturing.
Freeman et al., PNAS, 2014
Interactive is the deepest mode
The ICAP framework shows engagement quality climbs from passive → active → constructive → interactive. Orbit's worlds are built to live at the top of that ladder.
Chi & Wylie, Educational Psychologist, 2014
Doing works even when it feels harder
Students in active classrooms learned measurably more than in polished lectures, even though the lecture felt easier at the time.
Deslauriers et al., PNAS, 2019
Live feedback moves the needle
Minute-by-minute formative assessment is among the strongest documented levers on achievement, which is precisely the signal Orbit hands teachers in real time.
